Soon after a laudable performance at the Asian Games, India's para-athletes are shining at Asian Para Games 2023.
Para athlete Sumit Antil continued his world record-breaking spree as he created a new world record and won a gold medal in the men's javelin throw F64 event. His personal best was 73.29 meters.
Another Indian in the event, Pushpendra Singh clinched the bronze medal with a throw of 62.06m.
Harvinder Singh and Sahil won Bronze Medal in Men's Double Recurve Archery Event at the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou.

Earlier on the opening day of Asian Para Games, Nishad Kumar won India's third gold of the day in men's high jump T47 class as he cleared a height of 2.02m while compatriot Ram Pal’s 1.94m jump helped him bag the bronze.
