India's Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) officially disclosed their 15-member squad on September 5. Rohit Sharma will lead the team, with Hardik Pandya serving as the vice-captain. A notable development was the inclusion of KL Rahul, who was deemed fit to participate, offering a positive outlook ahead of India's World Cup opener against Australia in Chennai on October 8.
