The much anticipated World Cup match between India and Pakistan had been scheduled for October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. But now it seems that it might get rescheduled.

Reports suggest that the group stage between the two neighbours might be rescheduled due to its clash with Navratri season. According to some sources, security agencies have alerted the BCCI to change the date for the match to avoid a clash with Navratri festival.

Apart from the clash of India and Pakistan, the Narendra Modi Stadium will also host the opening match between New Zealand and England. The match between England and Australia will also take place in Ahmedabad.
