Glenn Maxwell's powerful century guided Australia to victory against India in a thrilling run-chase in the third T20I match
Australia had to chase 223 runs, but lost some wickets during early innings. However, Glenn Maxwell helped Aus with his powerful hitting and took them to victory on the last ball. Maxwell scored an unbeaten at 104 off 48 balls while Travis Head scored 35 off 18 balls.
Glenn Maxwell was adjudged as Player of the Match.
Ruturaj Gaikwad slammed his first-ever century for India to shatter multiple records in the 3rd T20I against Australia. Gaikwad joined the likes of Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli in a special club of century-makers for India in T20Is. He is the ninth Indian batter to slam a century in T20I cricket.

India has won two matches and Australia has won only one match. India is leading with 2-1 vs Australia.
The fourth match in India vs Australia T20 match series will be played on December 1. The match will begin at 7:30 am and the toss will take place at 7:00 am at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur.
In an unrelated development, India's legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, who had led the country to win its first World Cup in 1983, has commented on India's loss vs Australia in World cup 2023.
"Don't keep so much hope that people end up with broken hearts. We need to keep a balance. Other teams also came to India to compete in the World Cup. We shouldn't create so much hype. We need to look at sports as sports only. Whoever plays well on the day, we need to respect that. We are too emotional," PTI quoted Kapil as saying on the sidelines of the inaugural tee-off ceremony of the Kapil Dev Grant Thornton Invitational golf tournament.
