The Mumbai Indians bowling coach for Women’s Premier League said that WPL will change the perception of women’s cricket. She said, “WPL will change the perception of women’s cricket. Our cricketers are sharing the dressing room with all quality cricketers from the world, and this will only benefit Indian cricket. We should cherish that we have a platform like this today.”

Delhi Capitals’ Jemimah Rodriguez said, “If it wouldn’t be for the previous generation, I don’t think we would have been here today because they did it without the fame, without the money, without the facilities that we get today. Growing up we just heard Jhulan Goswami and Mithali Raj, never saw them. We are enjoying the fruits of what they did.”
