Billionaire Elon Musk wasted no time in once again sharing his reservations about the COVID-19 vaccine after the news of Bronny James’ cardiac arrest broke. Musk commented on a Twitter post, “We cannot ascribe everything to the vaccine, but, by the same token, we cannot ascribe nothing. Myocarditis is a known side-effect. The only question is whether it is rare or common.”
18-year-old Bronny James is the older son of Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James. Bronny is an incoming freshman at the USC after graduating from the Sierra Canyon High School of Los Angeles this year.
Just like his father, Bronny is also considered a promising youngster in the world of basketball. He was set to play for the team of USC this year after being rated as a four-star recruit. He also performed well in the McDonald’s All American Game in March this year.
Bronny averaged 14.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.7 steals in his senior year of high school. He joined the USC team hoping to reach the NCAA Tournament for the fourth consecutive time.
The LA Lakers star has been a very vocal supporter of his son’s career. LeBron often flies to see his son play even during the NBA season. He said to the media earlier in May, “I understand how important fatherhood is, just coming from a no-father household. We always try to support each other in all our endeavors. I’m only as good as my family.”
Talking about his retirement, the all-time leading scorer of the NBA once said, “My last year will be played with my son. Wherever Bronny is at, that’s where I’ll be. I would do whatever it takes to play with my son for one year. It’s not about the money at that point.”
