According to the French publication, L’Equipe, the Qatari owners are ready to accept the offer made by their Saudi counterparts. PSG is already in the market to sell their player before his contract runs out next year.

Earlier this year, Al-Hilal tried to bring Lionel Messi to their club by offering him a $665 million per year contract. But the World Cup winner snubbed them in the end to join David Beckham-owned Inter Miami in the US.

Paris Saint Germain, Kylian Mbappe’s current club, holds the record for the most expensive transfer. PSG paid $246 million to FC Barcelona in 2017 for the transfer of Brazilian winger Neymar Jr.

Mbappe pushed his current club in a corner after refusing to extend his contract, which is set to expire next year. To stop Mbappe from leaving on a free transfer, PSG has been looking for a buyer in the current transfer window.

Despite their failure to get Messi for their club, Al-Hilal still managed to get three deals through this summer. The Saudi club bought Ruben Neves from Wolves for $60 million. They also bought defender Koulibaly from Chelsea for $27.3 million and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio for $44.5 million.
