Earlier this week, Wimbledon Twitter posted a picture of Roger Federer and captioned it as a ‘Thalaiva’. Now, Chennai Super Kings have responded to the viral tweet by posting AI images of their players as tennis stars like Djokovic and Nadal.
As Wimbledon decided to call Federer ‘Thalaiva’, CSK corrected the tennis legends by posting an AI image of ‘Thalaiva of cricket’, MS Dhoni as Federer.
The IPL team of Chennai also posted an image of their 2023 final star player, Ravindra Jadeja as the Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal.
Third picture is of the all-rounder Shivam Dube as none other than the all-time highest Grand Slam winner, Novak Djokovic. Djokovic has 23 Grand Slams surpassing Nadal by one trophy.
Last picture is of Sri Lankan pacer, Matheesha Pathirana as the current world No. 1 tennis player Carlos Alcaraz.
While CSK has responded in their own way, the fans of Dhoni and Tamil Nadu’s real ‘Thalaivar’ Rajinikanth also gave their reactions to the viral tweet.
One user on Twitter wrote, “No Wimbledon, there's only one Thala in Sports that's MSD. No disrespect to Roger.”
Another user tagged the superstar Rajinikanth and wrote, “HaHa! Thalaiva @rajinikanth Wimbledon is calling you. They have photo of some guy from Europe who is also calling you.”
One Twitter user praised the social media team of Wimbledon for using such popular and creative terms. He wrote, “Whoever is managing the profiles for Wimbledon, deserves a raise. First Naatu Naatu on Instagram and now this!”
