Market settles higher: Top gainers & losers

Benchmark indices settled with decent gains on Tuesday. Headline index NSE Nifty closed at 19,783-level. Top gainers on the Nifty50 platform were SBI Life Insurance, HDFC Life, Adani Enterprises, Hindalco and JSW Steel while losers included BPCL, Tech Mahindra, LTI Mindtree, NTPC and L&T.

Active stocks on November 21

Stocks such as HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finance, Reliance Industries, ICICI Bank and SBI were most active on NSE today, in terms of value. Tata Steel, Coal India ONGC were the other buzzing stocks on the platform, in terms of volume.

RattanIndia Enterprises share price today

Shares of RattanIndia Enterprises emerged as the top gainer in the NSE 500 index. The stock zoomed 17.1% on NSE today to settle at Rs 76.

Rallis India share price today

Rallis India shares gained 9.17% to close at Rs 235.75. At this price, the company commanded a market capitalisation (m-cap) of Rs 4,584.6 crore.

SJVN share price today

Shares of SJVN Ltd jumped 7.31% to end at Rs 81.5 today. The company's market cap came at Rs 32,027.8 crore.

BEML share price today

Shares of BEML Ltd rose 7.31% today to settle at Rs 2,438.65. The company's market valuation stood at Rs 10,155.6 crore.

KPIT Technologies share price today

Shares of KPIT Technologies fell sharply today. The stock dived 7.28% to close at Rs 1,505.8 on Tuesday.

BSE share price today

BSE Ltd shares slipped 5.02% to end the session at Rs 2,149.45. The company's m-cap stood at Rs 29,117.1 crore today.

Suzlon Energy share price today

Shares of Suzlon Energy were also among top laggards in the NSE 500 pack today. Suzlon's stock fell 4.96% to settle at Rs 39.3. The company's market cap was at Rs 53,425.5 crore.

Nifty outlook

"Nifty inched towards the resistance zone of 19,850 but pressure in the banking and IT majors capped the upside and it finally settled at 19,783.40 level. The broader indices remained dull for the second day in a row, however, selective buying kept traders busy," said Ajit Mishra, SVP - Technical Research at Religare Broking.
