Market ends flat: Top gainers & losers

Benchmark indices settled slightly higher on Wednesday in a highly volatile trade. Headline index NSE Nifty closed at 19,444-level. Top gainers on the Nifty50 platform were BPCL, Adani Ports, Asian Paints, Cipla and Titan while losers included ICICI, Infosys, NTPC, Tech Mahindra and Tata Consumer Products.

Active stocks on  November 8

Stocks such as HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, SBI and Axis Bank were most active on NSE today, in terms of value. Tata Steel and BPCL were the other buzzing stock on the platform, in terms of volume.

Prince Pipes share  price today

Shares of Prince Pipes & Fittings emerged as the top gainer in the NSE 500 index. The stock jumped 15.26% on NSE today to settle at Rs 720.6.

Concord Biotech share  price today

Concord Biotech shares surged 10.4% to close at Rs 1,324.55. At this price, the company commanded a market capitalisation (m-cap) of Rs 13,856.9 crore.

NLC India share price today

Shares of NLC India gained 7.51% to end at Rs 151.8 today. The company's market cap came at Rs 21,049.1 crore.

HPCL share price today

Shares of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) rose 7.48% today to settle at Rs 299.5. The company's market valuation stood at Rs 42,485.5 crore.

Rain Industries share  price today

Shares of Rain Industries fell sharply today. The stock dived 4.14% to close at Rs 148.3 on Wednesday.

Restaurant Brands Asia share price today

Restaurant Brands Asia, the franchisee of Burger King India, shares fell 3.43% to end the session at Rs 114.1. The company's m-cap stood at Rs 5,648.8 crore today.

Jindal Saw share  price today

Shares of Jindal Saw were also among top losers in the NSE 500 pack today. Jindal Saw's stock slipped 3.22% to settle at Rs 467. The company's market cap was at Rs 14,932.5 crore.

Nifty outlook

"Nifty needs a push to overcome the major hurdle at 19,500 and it could probably be from the global markets, in the absence of any major domestic event. Meanwhile, participants should continue with the stock-specific trading approach, with bias on the positive side," said Ajit Mishra, SVP - Technical Research at Religare Broking.
