Market soars: Top gainers & losers

Benchmark indices settled with sharp gains on Wednesday. Headline index NSE Nifty closed at 20,097-level. Top gainers on the Nifty50 platform were Axis Bank, Hero MotoCorp, M&M, Wipro and HDFC Bank while losers included Adani Enterprises, ONGC, Divi's Labs, Nestle India and Eicher Motors.

Active stocks on November 29

Stocks such as HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, Tata Motors, Adani Enterprises and ICICI Bank were most active on NSE today, in terms of value. Tata Steel, Coal India and ITC were the other buzzing stocks on the platform, in terms of volume.

Aster DM share price today

Shares of Aster DM Healthcare emerged as the top gainer in the NSE 500 index. The stock zoomed 18.88% on NSE today to settle at Rs 395.45.

Adani Total Gas share price today

Adani Total Gas shares jumped 13.71% to close at Rs 732.55. At this price, the company commanded a market capitalisation (m-cap) of Rs 80,566.6 crore.

Torrent Power share price today

Shares of Torrent Power surged 11.53% to end at Rs 941.4 today. The company's market cap came at Rs 45,245.3 crore.

Minda Corporation share price today

Shares of Minda Corporation gained 10.99% today to settle at Rs 373.15. The company's market valuation stood at Rs 8,921.3 crore.

Aether Industries share price today

Shares of Aether Industries fell sharply today. The stock dived 8.41% to close at Rs 829.4 on Wednesday.

Nifty outlook

"Nifty may take a breather around its previous record high level of 20,222.45 and then gradually inch toward the 20,500 level. We thus suggest focusing on quality large cap names from across sectors and picking selectively from the broader indices," said Ajit Mishra, SVP - Technical Research at Religare Broking.
