Market rises: Top gainers  & losers

Benchmark indices settled in the green on Friday, led by gains in automobile, pharma and consumer stocks. Headline index NSE Nifty closed at 22,097-level. The 30-share BSE pack rose 191 points or 0.26% to end at 72,832. Top gainers on the Nifty50 platform were Hero MotoCorp, Maruti Suzuki, Sun Pharma, UPL and Apollo Hospitals while losers included LTIMindtree, Infosys, Wipro, HCLTech and TCS. Domestic IT stocks tumbled today after US software giant Accenture reduced its fiscal 2024 revenue forecast. Accenture is widely considered to be the bellwether for the Indian IT sector.

Stocks such as HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, TCS, Infosys and ICICI Bank were most active on NSE today, in terms of value. Tata Steel, ITC and PowerGrid were the other buzzing stocks on the platform, in terms of volume.

Allcargo Logistics share price today

In the NSE 500 index, shares of Allcargo Logistics Ltd emerged as the top gainer. The stock zoomed 13.09% on NSE today to settle at Rs 72.55. At this price, the company commanded a market capitalisation (m-cap) of Rs 7,130.1 crore.

Indus Towers share  price today

Indus Towers Ltd shares soared 8.43% to close at Rs 271.3. The company's m-cap came at Rs 73,113.6 crore.

Laxmi Organic share price today

Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd shares surged 8.23% to close at Rs 246.45. The company's m-cap stood at Rs 6,782.4 crore. Carborundum Universal, Swan Energy, Sumitomo Chemical India and Sobha were some of the other gainers on NSE 500.

Tata Investment share price today

Shares of Tata Investment Corporation Ltd fell sharply today. The stock dived 5% to close at Rs 5961.55 on Friday. At this price, the company's market cap stood at Rs 30,162.6 crore.

Gujarat Ambuja share price today

Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd shares slipped 3.06% to end the session at Rs 160.05. The company's m-cap came at Rs 7,341 crore today. LTIMindtree, Infosys, Coforge and Persistent Systems were among some other laggards on NSE 500.
