Sensex, Nifty ended in green

The domestic equity market closed higher on Friday. Sensex rose 242 points to end the session at 71,106 and Nifty gained 94 points to settle at 21,439.

Shares of Standard Capital Markets will trade ex-split from December 29, 2023. The board of the firm declared a stock split in the ratio of 1:10.  The stock will also turn ex-bonus on the same day. The bonus issue was announced in the ratio of 2:1.

HMA Agro Industries

Shares of HMA Agro Industries Ltd will trade ex-split from December 29, 2023. The firm declared a split in the ratio of 1:10.

AstraZeneca Pharma

AstraZeneca Pharma has received a draft order for the assessment unit being passed under section 144C(1) read with section 143(3) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 for assessment year 2021-22. In the said order, the assessment unit has made adjustments on the legacy transfer pricing issues ie incorporating the impact of order passed under section 92CA(3) of the Act and certain corporate tax issues have been proposed.

Vedanta

Shares of Vedanta will trade ex-dividend from December 29,2023. The firm declared an interim dividend of Rs 11 per share.
