The NSE Nifty 50 crashed 186.8 points or 1.02% to 18,069.00 and BSE Sensex tanked 694.96 or 1.13% to 61,054.29. Bank Nifty plunged 2.34% to 42,661.2. Next week, the market would also take cues from inflation, state election outcome and the ongoing earnings season.
Mankind Pharma, the domestic-focused fourth-largest pharmaceutical company in the Indian pharma market, will make its debut on the BSE and NSE on May 8, Monday, as per the schedule. Mankind Pharma shares will remain in focus post listing.

Shares of Coal India will remain in focus as the company will report its financial result for the quarter ended March 31, 2023. On Friday, Coal India share price rose half a per cent to Rs 237 apiece on the NSE.
Shares of Welspun India will be in focus next week on Wednesday. The company will buy back shares worth Rs 195 crore at a price of Rs 120 per share. The buyback will be carried out via the tender offer route and the record date for the same has been set as May 10 to ascertain the eligibility of shareholders for the buyback.
Shares of Bharat Forge will be in focus as the company reported a standalone net loss of Rs 244.52 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 2023, down 6.64% from Rs 261.9 crore clocked in the corresponding quarter of last year. Its revenue from operations jumped 19.3% YoY. The board also recommended a final dividend of Rs 5.50 (275%) per share of Rs 2 each.
Shares of Oracle Financial Services will be in focus next week as the company has fixed May 9 as the record date of its interim dividend of Rs 225. The stock ended half a per cent lower on Friday at Rs 3,670 on NSE.
Shares of Coforge will be in focus on Tuesday as the company has fixed May 9 as the record date of its interim dividend of Rs 19. The stock ended marginally higher on Friday at Rs 4,110 on NSE.
