VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Financial Services said, “Following the smaller-than-expected trend in consumer price index, the US producer price index also showed a smaller-than-expected trend yesterday with a marginal increase of only 0.1% YoY. This declining trend in inflation in the mother market of the US and the resilience of the US economy are the two pillars of support for global equity markets. India VIX has dipped below 11 indicating that there is no fear in the market despite record high index levels.”
Shares of the auto firm zoomed 18% to Rs 1,548.35 (fresh 52-week high) in early trade after the firm said JBM Auto and its subsidiaries have won orders for nearly 5,000 electric buses for supplying to various STUs in the states of Gujarat, Haryana, Delhi, Telangana, Orissa among others and multiple Fortune 500 companies. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 17,228 crore
Shares of Titagarh Rail Systems rose over a per cent amid a rally in the broader market today. The stock surged to Rs 538.75 against the previous close of Rs 529.70 on BSE
Shares of brokerage Angel One rose 3.18% to Rs 1,801.45 after the consolidated net profit for the June quarter rose 22% to Rs 221 crore. Revenue from operations for the first quarter came in at Rs 807 crore, up 18% YoY. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 14,653 crore
Shares of Senco Gold made a strong debut on Dalal Street as the stock was listed at Rs 431 on the BSE, a premium of 36% over its issue price of Rs 317. The stock kicked off its maiden trading session with a premium of 36% at Rs 430 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE)
Tata Metaliks stock rose 1.5% to Rs 835.15 today after the firm reported a net profit of Rs 4.55 crore in Q1, growing multifold from just Rs 1.22 crore in the previous year period. Market cap of the firm surged to Rs 2,591 crore
Brightcom Group stock rose 3.5% to Rs 25.80 in early deals. Market cap of Brightcom Group surged to Rs 5,135 crore. A total of 57.21 lakh shares changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 13.75 crore
Shares of Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders plunged over 4% to Rs 1,640.30 a day after the stock hit an all-time high of Rs 1,766. Market cap of the firm fell to Rs 33,278 crore
