"Market will start responding to the Q1 results, which will start flowing in from next week. Financials are set to post good numbers. Credit growth of Bajaj Finance is excellent and this augurs well for the stock," said V K Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist, Geojit Financial Services.
Shares of KPIT Technologies rose 2.95% to a record high of Rs 1773.90 against the previous close of Rs 1723 on BSE. Total 0.66 lakh shares of the firm changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 11.56 crore on BSE. Market cap of the firm climbed to Rs 47,865 crore.
Shares of Kilburn Engineering rose to a record high after the company said it received LOIs for six rotary dryer packages (both domestic and export) from a reputed carbon black manufacturer aggregating Rs 88.31 crore. The company has won orders amounting to Rs 160.17 crore during the first quarter ended June 2024. The industrial products stock hit a record high of Rs 462, rising 3.10% on BSE.
Aditya Vision shares rose nearly 4% after the board of firm engaged in retail trading of electronic items approved stock split in the ratio of 1:10. The multibagger stock rose 3.67% to Rs 4740 in early deals on Thursday against the previous close of Rs 4572.95 on BSE. Market cap of the firm stood at Rs 5789.84 crore.
NBCC (India) shares surged 4.94 per cent to scale their 52-week high of Rs 177.35. The stock was last seen trading 4.20 per cent higher at Rs 176.10. At this price, the multibagger scrip has gained 100.98 per cent in the past six months. Today's sharp uptick in the state-owned construction firm's shares came after it secured an order from National Institute of Technology, Patna, valued at Rs 36 crore.
Shares of Inox Wind zoomed over 13 percent to Rs 164 on Thursday after the firm said it has received a Rs 900-crore capital infusion from promoter Inox Wind Energy Limited (IWEL). Market cap of the firm climbed to Rs 20,756 crore. The fund was raised through the sale of equity shares of Inox Wind in block deals on stock exchanges, attracting participation from several high-profile investors.
Shares of Mazagon Dock gained 9.89% to a record high of Rs 5150 on BSE. Market cap of the firm climbed to Rs 1.03 lakh crore. The stock saw a turnover of Rs 343.76 crore with 6.95 lakh shares changing hands in the afternoon session.
Shares of Cochin Shipyard rose 9.18% to a record high of Rs 2664.40 on BSE. Market cap of the firm climbed to Rs 69,662 crore. The stock saw a turnover of Rs 222.75 crore with 8.60 lakh shares changing hands on BSE.
