Indices trading higher on November 23

Indian equity benchmarks were trading slightly higher today amid a volatile session. Sensex was up 30 points at 66,053 and Nifty edged 2 points up to trade at 19,814.

Buy-on-dips strategy working

VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Financial Services, said, "Market is exhibiting resilience within a narrow range movement. At current levels, the buy on dips strategy is working. The domestic benchmarks are waiting for fresh triggers."

PCBL

Shares of PCBL Ltd hit a 52-week high of Rs 264 in early trade today. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 9,908.39 crore. Around 2.47 lakh shares of the company changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 6.30 crore.

SunTech Realty

Shares of SunTech Realty hit a one-year high of Rs 502.35 in early trade today. SunTech shares jumped 7.28% on BSE today against the previous close of Rs 468.25. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 7,322.79 crore. Around 31,000 shares of the firm changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 1.50 crore.

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy

Shares of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy surged 5% to Rs 330.50 in early deals today. 33,000 shares of the firm changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 1.07 crore on BSE today. Market cap of Sterling and Wilson rose to Rs 6,271.21 crore.

Suzlon Energy

Shares of Suzlon Energy Ltd hit its 5% upper price band in Thursday's trade. Suzlon Energy shares rose 4.98 per cent to hit a day high of Rs 39.18. The Suzlon Energy stock has surged 265.49 per cent on a year-to-date (YTD) basis.

Tube Investments

Shares of Tube Investments of India dived 7.27% to trade at Rs 3,465.65 today against the previous close of Rs 3,737.50 on BSE. Around 30,000 shares of the firm changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 10.49 crore. Market cap slipped to Rs 66,997.95 crore. The stock was among top BSE 500 losers today.

Cipla

Shares of Cipla Ltd plunged 6.47% to trade at Rs 1,189.40 on BSE. Market cap of the pharma giant declined to Rs 96,023.29 crore. Around 1.10 lakh shares of the firm changed hands amounting to a turnover of Rs 13.35 crore on BSE.

NIACL

Shares of The New India Assurance Company Ltd fell 4.02% to trade at Rs 169.50. The firm logged a turnover of Rs 3.79 crore as 2.21 lakh shares of the firm changed hands on BSE today. Market cap of Inox Wind fell to Rs 27,933.60 crore.
