Benchmark indices were trading higher in early deals today (September 5). Sensex rose 133 points to 65,761 and Nifty rose 45 pts to 19574.
VK Vijayakumar, Chief Investment Strategist at Geojit Financial Services said, “Recent releases of domestic macroeconomic data have portrayed a positive picture for the domestic markets, allowing them to maintain their momentum. Despite profit booking in Nifty Auto after reaching an all-time high, the market regained its footing with robust buying in IT stocks. The increase in the US unemployment rate has solidified expectations of a pause in rate hikes, and positive global cues have further boosted market sentiment."
Shares of YES Bank rose 3% to Rs 19.12 on BSE amid the settlement between JC Flowers Asset Reconstruction Company and Subhash Chandra, backed by heavy trading volumes. Market cap of the bank rose to Rs 52,826 crore.

Shares of Raymond hit a fresh 52-week high rising 13% to Rs 2240 on BSE. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 14,854 crore.
Shares of One 97 Communications rose over 1% to Rs 872 after the firm said the value of loans that it distributed through the Paytm platform stood at Rs 5,517 Cr ($667 million) in August. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 55,049 crore.

Shares of Vishnu Prakash R Punglia made a stellar debut on Tuesday as the civil construction players was listed at Rs 165, a premium of 67% over its issue price of Rs 99, on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). Similarly, the stock listed at a premium of 65 per cent at Rs 163.30 on BSE.
Shares of MMTC rose over 18% to Rs 62.45 in early deals. Market cap of the firm climbed to Rs 9235.50 crore.
Shares of Jio Financial rose over 2% to Rs 259.95 in early trade. A total of 26.10 lakh shares changed hands amounting to the highest turnover of Rs 67.41 crore on BSE. Market cap of the firm rose to Rs 1.63 lakh crore.
