Among top sectoral losers, the BSE IT index tumbled 24.24 per cent or 9,172 points in 2022. BSE Consumer Durables index was down 11.27 per cent or 5,046 points while healthcare index lost 12.10 per cent or 3,172 points
Among sectoral gainers, BSE Power and BSE PSU indices rose 25.84% or 899 points and 23.05 per cent or 1,876 points, respectively
ICICI Securities expects Sensex to hit 71,600 mark by December 2023. This shows an upside of over 17 per cent from the level of 60,840 on December 30. Nifty can climb to 21,500 mark in the next 12 months, as per the brokerage
