FMCG major Nestle India on April 12, 2023, declared an interim dividend of Rs 27 per equity share of face value Rs 10 each for the year 2023 on the entire issue.

Nestle India has fixed April 21, 2023, as the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders for interim dividend payment.

“This is to inform you that the Board of Directors at their meeting held today declared an interim dividend of Rs 27 per equity share of Rs 10 each for the year 2023 on the entire issued, subscribed and paid-up share capital of the Company of 9,64,15,716 equity shares of the nominal value of Rs 10 each,” Nestle India said in a stock exchange filing.

The interim dividend for the financial year 2023 will be paid on and from May 8, 2023, along-with the final dividend for the financial year 2022, Nestle India said in a regulatory filing.

Earlier in February this year, Nestle declared paying the final dividend for the year 2022 to its shareholders. The board approved the payment of a Rs 75 dividend per equity share having a face value of Rs 10 each.

The trading window for dealing in Nestle India securities will remain closed for designated persons and their immediate relatives from April 1 through April 27, the company told the exchanges.
