Coal India topped the Nifty50 index as the best performer with a 5% surge on Monday after the company posted a 13% YoY growth in production at 52.3 million tonnes in August. The supplies reached 59 MT in August 2023 from 51.2 MT a year back, posting a rise of 15.3%. The scrip closed at Rs 247.90
