Market settles lower: Top gainers & losers

Benchmark indices slipped on Monday, dragged by financials, technology and consumer stocks. Headline index NSE Nifty settled below 19,450 level. Top losers on the Nifty50 platform were SBI Life Insurance, Bajaj Finance, Grasim Industries, Infosys and Nestle India while gainers included Coal India, Eicher Motors, Hindalco, M&M and BPCL.

Active stocks on  November 13

Stocks such as HDFC Bank, Coal India, ICICI Bank, SBI and Axis Bank were most active on NSE, in terms of value. NTPC, Tata Steel and PowerGrid were the other buzzing stock on the platform, in terms of volume.

Glenmark Pharma share price today

Shares of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals emerged as the top laggard in the NSE 500 index. The stock dived 5.03% on NSE today to settle at Rs 724.45.

Swan Energy share  price today

Swan Energy shares declined 4.35% to close at Rs 429.9. At this price, the company commanded a market capitalisation (m-cap) of Rs 11,345.8 crore.

Global Health share  price today

Shares of Global Health slipped 4.10% to end at Rs 910.85 today. The company's market cap came at Rs 24,449.7 crore.

Page Industries share  price today

Shares of Page Industries India fell 3.44% today to settle at Rs 37,035.85. The company's market valuation stood at Rs 41,309.4 crore.

BSE share price today

Shares of BSE rose sharply today. The stock jumped 9.21% to close at Rs 41,309.4 on Monday along with a m-cap of Rs 31,453.1 crore.

Hindustan Copper share price today

Hindustan Copper shares surged 8.07% to end the session at Rs 162.05. The company's m-cap stood at Rs 15,670.6 crore today.

Motilal Oswal share  price today

Shares of Motilal Oswal Financial Services were also among top gainers in the NSE 500 pack today. The stock gained 8.04% to settle at Rs 1,130.6. The company's market cap was at Rs 16,759.7 crore. Computer Age Management Services (CAMS), Infibeam Avenues and Union Bank of India were some of the other gainers.

Nifty outlook

"Focus more on stock selection and prefer long trades until Nifty breaks 19,200," said Ajit Mishra, SVP - Technical Research at Religare Broking.
