On Friday, Indian equity benchmarks settled almost flat as losses in IT and consumer durables countered gains in metal and energy stocks. The 30-share BSE Sensex pack shed 8 points or 0.01% to finish at 74,333. The broader NSE Nifty index edged 8 points or 0.03% up to end at 22,553. India VIX, fear index, fell 1.85% to 13.47-level.

LTP: Rs 1,637.95 | SL: Rs 1,600 The LKP Securities analyst has given a 'Buy' call on Bharti Airtel Ltd shares with a target price of Rs 1,685. The scrip has gained 36.88% in the past one year. "As long as the stock sustains above Rs 1,600, it can move towards Rs 1,680. In the short term, Airtel may reach Rs 1,685, with support on the lower end placed at Rs 1,600 level," said Rupak De, Senior Technical Analyst at LKP Sec.
LTP: Rs 692 | SL: Rs 657 The analyst from LKP has also selected KSB Ltd in his stock recommendations. He has given a 'Buy' call on the counter with an upside target of Rs 750 per share. The scrip has fallen 4.25% in a year. "The stock has given a consolidation breakout on daily charts, indicating growing optimism. It may move towards Rs 750 level in the near term, with support placed at Rs 657," De stated.
LTP: Rs 1,685 | SL: Rs 1,710 The LKP analyst has included Infosys Ltd as well in his stock suggestions but with a "Sell futures" call. The scrip can hit a downward target of Rs 1,630, he said. The counter has risen 5.27% in the past one year. "The sentiment remains weak on the counter with further downside potential visible. It may decline towards Rs 1,630 level, while resistance on the higher end is seen at Rs 1,710," De mentioned.
"Nifty remained volatile within a narrow range. Significant put writing was seen at the 22,300 strike, while decent call writing was visible at the 22,800 strike. The sentiment remains positive, with the potential to reach higher levels in the short term. On the higher end, immediate resistance is seen at 22,700–22,750. On the lower end, support is placed at 22,400, below which the index may lose momentum," Rupak De of LKP Securities.
