Benchmark indices on Tuesday settled higher, led by gains in IT stocks. The 30-share BSE pack closed 165 points or 0.22% up at 73,668 and the broader NSE Nifty index edged just 3 points or 0.01% higher to end at 22,336. India VIX, fear index, fell 2.55% to end at 13.64-level.

LTP: Rs 1,714.50 | SL: Rs 1,645 Analysts from Religare Broking have given a 'Buy' call on United Breweries Ltd (UBL) shares with a target price of Rs 1,835. The scrip has risen 19.54% in the past one year. "We expect consolidation to end soon on the counter. Traders can accumulate UBL's stock in the mentioned range," the brokerage said.
LTP: Rs 942 | SL: Rs 912 The brokerage has also selected Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd in its stock recommendations. It has given a 'Buy' call on the counter with a target price of Rs 1,010 per share. The multibagger scrip has rallied 121.20% in a year. "The stock is offering a fresh buying opportunity. We recommend creating fresh positions in the mentioned range," Religare stated.
LTP: Rs 1,515 | SL: Rs 1,485 Religare has included SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd in its stock picks as well with a 'Buy' call for a target of Rs 1,600. The counter has moved 41.26% higher in the past one year. "The stock has been in a steady uptrend. Following the price action, we recommend creating fresh positions in the above mentioned range," the brokerage mentioned.
"For Nifty, we believe volatility may continue. Until the index holds above 22,150 mark, the index is likely to inch higher towards 22,750-23,000 levels," Religare Broking said.
