Newly-listed Ideaforge Technology, Olectra Greentech, Yes Bank, Reliance Industries, Titan, Suzlon Energy Macrotech Developers were among stocks that saw huge block deals this week, data available with Nuvama Research suggested. Ideaforge witnessed the most (70) block deals during for the week (ended July 7, 2023) worth Rs 441 crore. The deals were executed at an average price of Rs 1,310 and involved 33.66 lakh shares. The stock settled at 1,295.50 on Friday, a premium of 92.78 per cent over its initial public offering (IPO) issue price of Rs 672

FSN E-Commerce (parent firm of Nykaa) was among the top losers and the stock fell 5.1% over the week. Overall, 5 block deals were executed worth Rs 244 crore, according to the Nuvama report. Over 1.69 crore shares changed hands at an average price of Rs 144, this report said. In contrast, Olectra Greentech was the top gainer, as per Nuvama, as the stock surged 26.70 per cent this week. Olectra saw 41 block deals valued at Rs 138 crore. The stock jumped 18.02 per cent to close at Rs 1,231.35 on Friday

During the week, 17 other stocks including Mahindra & Mahindra, Yes Bank, Reliance, Titan, Suzlon, HDFC twins (HDFC and HDFC Bank), Macrotech, Zee Entertainment, Tata Motors and Max Healthcare witnessed significant bulk deal action, Nuvama said

In value terms, 69 block deals worth Rs 163 crore were made in Macrotech Developers (Lodha), which was second-highest in the pack. The stock ended with a rise of 3.1% over the week. The deals were executed at an average price of Rs 703 and involved 23.17 lakh shares. Titan also saw 69 block deals worth Rs 347 crore. The stock settled 3.20% higher this week

Mahindra & Mahindra observed 41 block deals, executed at an average price of Rs 1,549 involving 28.23 lakh shares. The deals were worth Rs 437 crore and the stock gained 7.60% this week

Further, Zee Entertainment and private lender Yes Bank 39 block deals (each) for the week worth Rs 156 crore and Rs 147 crore, respectively. Zee ended with a weekly jump of 16.20%. And, Yes Bank settled the week with 7.40% gains

As for Tata Motors, 38 block deals worth Rs 143 crore were executed during the week. Around 23.53 lakh shares changed hands at an average price of Rs 609. The stock settled with weekly gains of 3.80%

Max Healthcare saw 26 block deals, executed at an average price of Rs 606 involving 77.34 lakh shares. The deals were worth Rs 469 crore and the stock gained 1.70% this week

Varun Beverages witnessed 23 block deals worth Rs 349 crore. A total of 42.93 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 813 per share were transacted. The stock ended with weekly gains of 2.30%

Reliance Industries (RIL) observed 21 block deals worth Rs 200 crore during the week. Around 7.58 lakh shares changed hands at an average price of Rs 2,643. The stock settled with weekly gains of 3.30%

Five block deals worth Rs 364 crore were made in HDFC Bank. The stock ended with a decline of 2.4% over the week. Suzlon Energy too saw 5 block deals valued at Rs 309 crore. HDFC saw 3 blocks deals this week worth Rs 305 crore

Bharti Airtel saw 10 block deals valued at Rs 1,619 crore. In IIFL Finance, 4 block deals were executed at a cost of Rs 220 crore. Bajaj Finance (stock was up 6.40% this week) and Kotak Mahindra Bank (up 0.40%) saw 2 block deals, each, at a cost of Rs 567 crore and Rs 325 crore, respectively. Infosys witnessed 1 block deal valued at Rs 245 crore, the Nuvama report mentioned
