On the stock-specific front, Adani Enterprises, Suzlon Energy, Adani Power, SpiceJet, HUL, Tech Mahindra and some other counters will be in focus today
Shares of Adani Enterprises tanked 3.31% to close at Rs 2,217.90 in the previous trading session. The stock will be in focus today as the Adani Group's flagship firm will announce its second-quarter (Q2 FY24) results. Adani Power is also scheduled to release its Q2 numbers today
Shares of Indian Railway Finance Corporation rose 0.44% to end at Rs 72.93. The company will also declare its Q2 FY24 earnings today
Suzlon Energy shares gained 2.45% to settle at Rs 31.33 on Wednesday. The renewable energy firm is also scheduled to report its Q2 results today
Shares of Tata Motors shed 0.18% to close at Rs 627.35. The carmaker will come up with its Q2 earnings today as well
In addition, companies such as Berger Paints, Bombay Dyeing, Cholamandalam Investment, Dabur, Deepak Fertilisers, Godrej Properties, IEX and Karnataka Bank will announce their respective quarterly results today
SpiceJet shares jumped 4.58% to close at Rs 37.65. The airline has announced induction of five leased Boeing 737s (including 3 737 MAX aircraft) into its fleet. These aircraft will help the airline launch several exciting new flight routes and services, SpiceJet said
Shares of Cantabil Retail India settled with 1.67% gains at Rs 1,131.30. The stock will trade ex-split today from Rs 10 to Rs 2
Shares of Coforge climbed 0.85% to close at Rs 5,025.50. The stock will trade ex-dividend today. Coforge has declared an interim dividend of Rs 19
Shares of Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) slipped 0.45% to settle at Rs 2,472.90. The stock will trade ex-dividend today. The company has announced an interim dividend of Rs 18
Shares of Kajaria Ceramics rose 0.71% to settle at Rs 1,271.15. The stock will also trade ex-dividend today. The dividend amount is Rs 6 per share
