Indian equity benchmarks settled in the red on November 24 (Friday), as losses in consumer goods and technology stocks countered gains in metals and pharma. The 30-share BSE Sensex pack slipped 48 points or 0.07% to close at 65,970, while the broader NSE Nifty index moved 7 points or 0.04% down to end at 19,795. Stocks such as CG Power, LIC, Adani Wilmar, BHEL and Gland Pharma were among the top gainers on Nifty 200 during the week.
CG Power and Industrial Solutions' stock was the top gainer this week in the Nifty 200 universe as the scrip jumped 10.28% to Rs 429.15 on NSE. In the last one month, the stock has risen 11.76%.
Life Insurance Corporation of India's stock surged 10.25% this week to Rs 677.65 on NSE, and was among the top gainers in the Nifty 200 universe. In the last one month, the stock has gained 9.75%.
Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd's stock moved 7.33% up this week to settle at Rs 152.25 on NSE, and was one of the top gainers in the Nifty 200 pack. In the last one month, the stock has soared 29.3%.
Gland Pharma's stock rose 7.84% to Rs 1,756.5 on NSE in the week ended on November 24, and was among the top gainers in the Nifty 200 universe. On a monthly basis, the stock has gained 15.61%.
Adani Wilmar's stock was also among the top gainers in the Nifty 200 universe this week as it climbed 7.44% to Rs 316.95 on NSE. In the last one month, the stock has slipped 2.54%.
Tube Investments of India Ltd's stock was also among the top gainers in the Nifty 200 pack this week as it moved 9.36% higher to Rs 3,460.95 on NSE. In the last one month, the stock has surged 19.05%.
Vodafone Idea's shares fell 8.25% to Rs 13.35 on NSE this week, making the stock one of the top losers in the Nifty 200 universe. In the last one month, the scrip has soared 21.92%.
Zomato's stock tanked 7.32% this week to Rs 113.25 on NSE. The stock emerged as the second-most loser in the Nifty 200 index. In the last one month, the stock has, however, rose 3.99%.
Shares of Patanjali Foods dived 5.75% this week to Rs 1,543.3 on NSE. The stock was among the top losers in the Nifty 200 universe. Although, the stock has climbed 5.46% in the last one month.
Shares of Indian Bank fell 5.42% this week to Rs 408.2 on NSE, making it one of the top Nifty 200 losers. In the last one month, the stock has shed 0.87%.
Shares of Oil India tumbled 5.19% to Rs 298.9 in the week ended on November 24. The stock has fallen 2.77% in the past one month.
