Indian equity benchmarks on Friday continued their strong run, led by gains in automobile, consumer durables and healthcare stocks. The 30-share BSE pack settled 182 points or 0.24% higher at 76,992. The broader NSE Nifty index touched an all-time high of 23,490 before closing 67 points or 0.29% up at 23,466. Stocks such as Mazagon Dock, Paytm, Oracle Financial and Bharat Dynamics were among the top gainers on Nifty 200 during this week.
Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd's stock was the top gainer this week in the Nifty 200 universe as the scrip soared 22.68% to Rs 3,877.55 on NSE. The stock has gained 81.82% in the last one month.
One97 Communications Ltd's (Paytm's parent) stock surged 22.62% this week to Rs 425.05 on NSE, and was among the top gainers in the Nifty 200 universe. In the last one month, the stock has jumped 23.74%.
Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd's stock was also among the top gainers in the Nifty 200 pack this week as it moved 16.38% higher to Rs 9,510.7 on NSE. The stock has gained 22.69% in the last one month.
Bharat Dynamics Ltd's stock surged 15.63% to Rs 1,582.8 on NSE in the week ended on June 14, and was among the top gainers in the Nifty 200 universe. The stock has soared 72.92% on a monthly basis.
Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd's stock was also among the top gainers in the Nifty 200 universe this week as it jumped 15.17% to Rs 11,242.85 on NSE. In the last one month, the stock has risen 36.07%. Shares of Siemens, Oil India, Samvardhana Motherson International, L&T Finance and Bharat Electronics also picked up pace on NSE 200 during the week.
Poonawalla Fincorp Ltd's stock slipped 3.19% this week to Rs 437.35 on NSE, and was the top loser in the Nifty 200 pack. The stock has fallen 4.24% in the last one month.
Adani Green Energy Ltd's shares fell 3.16% to Rs 1,806.3 on NSE this week, making the stock one of the top losers in the Nifty 200 universe. However, the scrip has risen 5.31% in the last one month. During the week, shares of Marico, United Spirits, Hindustan Unilever, Tata Consumer Products and Adani Total Gas also saw sharp corrections on NSE 200.
