Amazon September event 2023 highlights

Launched at a starting price of $269 (approx Rs 22,300), Amazon Echo Frame smart glasses come with in-built Alexa and speakers. They have a 6-hour battery backup and is available in several design options

The new Echo Show 8 comes with support for spatial audio and edge-to-edge glass display. The dynamic interface now shows information on the screen depending on how close are you to the device

Echo Hub is a wall mounted smart home controller. It can answer your queries just like Alexa and can be operated using its 8-inch display. Users can map their homes based on which smart device is kept where and control them from one place

The new standard Fire TV Stick 4K is 30 percent faster than its predecessor and supports Wi-Fi 6 for connectivity. The Max variant has support for Wi-Fi 6E, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos audio, along with HDR and HDR10+ standards

Amazon has announced two new versions of Kids Echo Pop: Marvel Edition and Disney Princesses. Additionally, the company has launched two new Fire HD 10 Kids tablets that are 25 per cent better than their predecessors

Designed for users with disabilities, this feature lets Alexa track users’ eye-movement to detect their presence and follows what they’re looking at in real-time

Amazon has added several new AI capabilities for Alexa including Emergency Assist. With this service, users can just give a voice command “Alexa, call for help” and it will immediately inform the first responders

Amazon has announced Ring Stick Up Can Pro security camera with radar sensors that will help in motion detection. As per the company, these sensors can “measure the distance of an object in its field of view”.
