Apple CEO Tim Cook has inaugurated India’s first Apple Store. He met several Indian personalities during his India visit. He will also be meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of launching the second Apple Store in Saket, Delhi
Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit played the perfect host to Tim Cook as she treated him to Mumbai’s famous snack Vada Pav. The Apple CEO tweeted, “Thanks, Madhuri Dixit for introducing me to my very first Vada Pav - it was delicious.”

India’s second Apple Store will be launched at Select Citywalk Mall in Saket on April 20
Despite the upcoming Delhi Apple store in Saket being half in size of Mumbai's BKC one, the rent of the two Apple stores is almost the same. As per CRE Matrix, the Apple store in Saket will be spread across 8,417.83 sqft while Apple BKC sprawls across 20,000 sqft. Apple will have to pay Rs 40 lakh per month for the Delhi store and Rs 42 lakh per month for the Mumbai store
