Apple will support India's indigenous alternative to GPS, NavIC (Navigation with Indian Constellation) in its recently launched iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models. What is NavIC?

NavIC is the Indian version of the Global Positioning System (GPS). Applications of NavIC

Functions of NavIC

It offers two services: Standard Position Service (SPS) for civilian users and Restricted Service (RS) catering to strategic users.
