Apple recently launched its iPhone 15 series and Google launched its Pixel 8 series in India. The standard models of the two smartphone series, iPhone 15 and Pixel 8, are rivals. Here is a quick comparison of the two phones
Apple iPhone 15 comes with an aluminium frame with round edges and comes in Blue, Green, Pink, White and Black. Pixel 8 comes with symmetrical bezels and flat display and is available in Obsidian, Hazel and Rose colour variants
Apple iPhone 15 features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display that offers 60Hz refresh rate whereas Pixel 8 comes with a 6.2-inch OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate
Apple iPhone 15 is powered by A16 Bionic chipset, same as the iPhone 14 Pro models while Pixel 8 is powered by Tensor G3 chipset. iPhone offers 8GB RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage while Pixel 8 comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
Apple iPhone 15 comes with a dual rear camera that supports a 48MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra wide angle lens. It has a 12MP front facing camera. Google Pixel 8 also features a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP primary sensor and a 12MP ultra wide angle lens.
Apple claims that iPhone 15 houses a 3,349 mAh battery and can offer up to 26 hours of battery backup and this time it comes with Type-C port for charging. Google Pixel 8, on the other hand, comes with a 4,575 mAh battery.
Apple iPhone 15 is launched in India at a starting price of Rs 79,990 in India while Pixel 8 will cost you Rs 75,999.
