Dyson has launched its first ever hair straightener in India called Dyson Airstrait. The UK-based tech company had previously launched Dyson AirWrap, Vaccum cleaner, air purifiers and more. Here’s all you need to know about the newly launched hair straightner
Dyson claims that unlike conventional straighteners, the Airstrait uses air instead of hot plates to style hair. Its air-based design minimises heat damage to hair and can be used on both wet and dry hair. It serves as a straightner as well as a dryer
Designed for multiple hair types, the company claims that stylers can achieve a natural straight style, with body and movement, whilst maintaining the strength and healthy look and feel of their hair. The hair tress is contained by two arms, from which a precisely angled high-pressure blade of air is forced downwards and into the hair, both simultaneously drying and straight styling, with one machine.
The Dyson Airstrait is equipped with precise temperature controls and intelligent heat regulation to ensure even styling and protection from heat damage. It also has two airflow settings and a cool shot function. The ‘Wet’ and ‘Dry’ modes are pre-set with the specific heat and airflow combination. In ‘Wet’ mode, you can choose among three heat settings: 80°C, 100°C, and 115°C. In ‘Dry’ mode, you can choose between 100°C or 115°C or a top-up “boost” mode at 130 °C
The newly launched Dyson Airstrait has built-in safety features like auto shut-off and cool tips to prevent accidents and ensure user safety.
Dyson claims the Airstrait features a lightweight and ergonomic design, making it easy to handle and use. It is equipped with temperature controls and intelligent heat regulation. It houses the digital heat control system with an LCD screen for temperature adjustments.
Priced at Rs 45,900, the Dyson Airstrait straightener is available in two colour variants– Prussian Blue/Rich Copper and Bright Nickel/Rich Copper. It is now available for purchase across the Dyson website, Nykaa, Tira and more websites along with offline retailers.
