Here’s a quick step-by-step guide on how you can use the new Street View feature of Google Maps on Android, iOS

How to access Street View
on Android, iOS

Open the Google Maps app and tap on the layers icon (two horizontal squares stacked together) placed under the search bar

Step 1

Now tap on Satellite (under Map type)> Street View (Under Map details)

Step 2

Now tap on the blue colour areas to see the places that show the Google street view

Step 3

You can drag up, down and sideways to get the full 360-degree view of the desired areas

Step 4

This Google Maps feature will let you navigate around a town/city while planning a trip

Street View uses

In 2016, the feature of Google Maps was banned in India due to security reasons. Street View now blurs the faces of people to maintain their privacy
