Honor 200 Pro has launched in India in two glossy colourways: Ocean Cyan and Black. The Ocean Cyan colour option looks beautiful especially for people who prioritise looks when it comes to smartphone choice. It features an elegant coastline design with a sleek and stylish finish and does not even attract fingerprints. However, it is a bit slippery and with a 6.7-inch display, the phone is a little tall for me to handle single-handedly. Overall, it is a gorgeous-looking handset
The newly launched smartphone comes with 6.78-inch AMOLED Quad-curved Floating Display that offers a 4,000 nits of peak brightness with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of looks, it looks stunning with deep blacks and vibrant colours. You will enjoy gaming or binge-watching series on Honor 200 Pro
Honor has packed a bunch of AI features in Honor 200 Pro model. It comes with a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 50MP telephoto camera. For selfies, it comes with a 50MP front-facing camera. The company promises excellent portrait shots as they have collaborated with Harcourt for that. While images clicked by me did look good but I will need to do more tests to give a conclusive answer.
Honor 200 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and offers 12GB and 512GB internal storage. In my brief time with the smartphone, it was good at handling multitasking, app switching, and gaming. It runs on Android 14 based MagicOS.
The Honor 200 Pro is equipped with a hefty 5,200mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging. The company has claimed that it can go from 0 to 50 per cent in just 15 minutes of time. This remains to be tested
Honor 200 Pro has been launched in one storage variant. The 12 GB RAM + 512 GB internal storage variant is priced at Rs 57,999. It comes in Black and Ocean Cyan colour variants. It will go on sale in India on July 20 across Amazon India and offline retail partners
In India, if you are planning to buy a smartphone in the same price range, the other options that you can consider buying include Samsung Galaxy S24 5G, Google Pixel 8, iPhone 15 and OnePlus 12R. Stay tuned for a more detailed review of Honor 200.
