Saurabh Netravalkar is an Oracle software engineer from Mumbai who became popular overnight after bowling against Pakistan in the T20 Cricket World Cup last night. In a Super Over, the US had to stop Pakistan from getting 18 runs and Netravalkar did that brilliantly. Here’s all you need to know about this Mumbai techie.

Saurabh Netravalkar Education

Born in Mumbai in 1991, Netravalkar completed his BTech in Computer Engineering from Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Mumbai and M Tech from Cornell University. He now works as a full time software engineer for Oracle

Cricket Career

Netravalkar is a left-arm medium-fast bowler known for his consistency and ability to swing the ball. He has played for the India U-19 team and was the leading wicket-taker in their 2010 World Cup campaign.

Recognition

Netravalkar has represented Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy and is now the Captain of the United States national cricket team
