Smartphone brand Poco has launched a new 5G smartphone in India, Poco X5 5G. It is a mid-range device powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. Poco X5 5G features include 120Hz AMOLED screen, and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage. But can it stand against the likes of Realme 10 Pro, Redmi Note 12 5G?
Poco X5 5G will be available in two variants. The smartphone’s base variant packs 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage priced at Rs 18,999. Poco X5 5G’s other model comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage that costs Rs 20,999
Poco X5 5G phone will be offered in three colour options- Supernova Green, Wildcat Blue, and Jaguar Black. Poco X5 5G launch offers include a discount of Rs 2,000 discount for ICICI bank card holders and an extra exchange discount of Rs 2,000. Poco X5 5G Flipkart sale will begin on March 21
Realme 10 Pro was launched in India last year in December in two variants. The base variant has 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, priced at Rs 18,999. The top-end model features 8GB RAM and 128GB storage with a price of Rs 19,999
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 12 5G in India in January. It comes in two variants with 128GB storage and either 4GB or 6GB RAM. Redmi Note 12 5G base model price is Rs 17,999 and Redmi Note 12 5G 6 GB model price is Rs 19,999
All three smartphones have sub-Rs 20k design featuring slightly curved edges and flat sides. The Redmi Note 12 5G and POCO X5 5G are almost identical in terms of form factor and triple camera placement on the back. POCO X5 has the signature black bar stretching across the top width. They both have a pinhole display. In a design comparison, Redmi Note 12 5G appears to be dated
The Realme 10 Pro also has a similar form factor and design, and design as that of POCO X5 but it has a dual camera setup on the back. Both cameras are separately positioned without any camera island. Realme 10 Pro has a large camera cutout size and POCO X5 has a black camera module band
POCO X5 5G has 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection layer. It has 120Hz refresh rate, 1,200nits peak brightness, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 45,00,000:1 contrast ratio, and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut
Realme 10 Pro has a 6.72-inch display panel with FHD+ screen resolution. It has 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1mm ultra-slim bezels, 680nits peak brightness and ÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light Certification. Redmi Note 12 5G has an identical panel to that of POCO X5
POCO X5 5G has a 48MP primary rear shooter, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, LED flash, and 13MP selfie camera. The Redmi Note 12 5G also features the same rear and front camera setup. Realme 10 Pro has a dual camera rear setup. Its primary sensor is a 108MP lens coupled with a 2MP sensor and 16MP front camera
