In India, Twitter Blue subscription is available for Android and iOS users at Rs 900 per month and at Rs 650 per month for web
On April 20, Twitter removed all legacy blue badges urging people to pay for Twitter Blue service
However, starting April 22, Twitter users, living or dead, with 1 million or more followers got back their blue checkmarks for free
These checkmarks indicate that the account is a verified business or organization and has a Twitter Verified Organizations subscription.
Companies like Coca Cola, Amazon, Netflix, Dell, Zomato, Marvel, Xbox, Paytm, Uber, and more feature a gold checkmark on Twitter.
Grey ticks on Twitter indicated that the account represents a government institution, official or multilateral organization.
Accounts like that of PM Narendra Modi, US President Joe Biden, UP Police, Union minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari and so on have been given these Grey ticks.
