Earlier this year, Uber partnered with WhatsApp to allow users to book rides via WhatsApp. The service is however, limited to Delhi-NCR and Lucknow region till now
This first-of-its-kind integration allows people residing in Delhi-NCR and Lucknow to book an Uber using their official chatbot on WhatsApp. Users have the option of booking their rides using both English and Hindi
Here’s a guide on how you can book your Uber rides using WhatsApp
You can book a rise via WhatsApp by sending a message to +91 7292000002
Alternatively, you can start a chat with the Uber chatbot using an offcial Uber link on WhatsApp
Now, send the complete address of your pick-up and destination points. You can also share your live location for the pickup
After you send the required information, you will receive the expected fare and other ride details from Uber
Finally, you need to confirm the fare and ride and then Uber will send you a notification on WhatsApp after a nearby driver accepts the ride request
