NASA astronaut Sunita Williams has been stuck in space since the past couple of months due to technical issues with Boeing’s Starliner spaceship. Here’s how Williams and astronaut Butch Wilmore spend time at the International Space Station
It is revealed that in addition to scientific investigations and maintenance, Williams, Wilmore along with the 7-member crew of ISS conduct public outreach, such as live video question-and-answer sessions with students.
To avoid bone or muscle loss, the astronauts exercise at least a couple of hours a day. Doctors on the ground have also taken readings of both Williams and Wilmore’s veins. Additionally, they also take turns scanning each other’s necks, shoulders and legs.
