Xiaomi claims MIUI 14 runs 60% smoother on the Xiaomi 12S Ultra compared to its predecessor, which is a massive improvement
Application Management
The new MIUI 14 will also allow automatic compression for apps that are not in use and a toggle for turning off permanent notifications. This will not only save space but also battery usage
Addressing the problem of bloatware on its devices, Xiaomi has announced that only eight system apps cannot be uninstalled from MIUI 14, rest all pre-loaded apps can be removed

MIUI 14 comes with customizable folders with normal and large icons and new widget options with different shapes and sizes
