Greta Gerwig has scored a blockbuster with her latest directorial ‘Barbie’. The film which has Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling in the lead has made ‘pink’ the colour of the season. The makers have shared a jaw-dropping 3D ad campaign on social media.
In the new campaign, a huge Barbie wearing the iconic black and white swimsuit is seen stepping out of her humongous pink toy box. The viewers can see the tallest building, Burj Khalifa in the background.
Eye Studio ad agency clarified that the ad campaign is only a CGI-created ad for the film about the iconic doll. The release of Barbie in UAE has been delayed till August 31. In order to keep up the hype around the film, the agency created this campaign.

The unique and jaw-dropping ad impressed netizens. A user on Twitter wrote, “Insane what they can do.” Another user tweeted, “I WANT THAT BARBIE!”
Another Twitter user wrote in disbelief, “I'm sorry what? When did technology get this good? Why is she actually stepping out like her arms are clearly outside of the building.”
According to Sacnilk, the movie directed by Greta Gerwig has so far managed to make Rs 3,500 crore at the global box office till July 25. The movie has also created a record for the biggest debut ever for a film directed by a woman.
Apart from Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, Barbie also features Issa Rae, Dua Lipa, Simu Liu, Michael Cera, John Cena, Helen Mirren and Will Ferrell.
Even though Barbie is going strong across the world, it is still struggling to keep up with Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer at the Indian box office. The Cillian Murphy-starrer has managed to make Rs 62 crore so far while Barbie is far behind with only Rs 23.45 crore as box office earnings till July 25, as per Sacnilk.
The Christopher Nolan film, which also stars Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr and Matt Damon, has so far earned Rs 1,750 crore at the global box office, as per Sacnilk.
