In recent years, bizarre chaiwalas and food vendors have cropped up across India, but only once has anyone heard of an ‘Audi Chaiwala’ in Mumbai. Now a vegetable farmer has taken it one step further as he drives his Audi A4 to sell vegetables from his farm at a roadside Kerala market.

The tale of Sujith, a farmer from Kerala, has gone viral on social media, after he shared a video on his Instagram profile. In the video, Sujith is seen plucking red spinach leaves from his farm. He then travels to a nearby market in his Audi A4 while his vegetables are carried in an auto rickshaw. Sujith then spreads a mat on which he places the bundles of freshly plucked red spinach and then sells them to the customers in the market.

Users on social media have congratulated Sujith on his success while also calling him an inspiration for others. A user commented, “I wish for all the Indian farmers to be well settled like this.”

Earlier this year, social media went abuzz  about ‘Audi Chaiwala’, where the person used to sell tea from the trunk of his Audi in Mumbai. The name on his banner said, ‘On Drive Tea’. People on the internet had mixed reactions as a clip of the vendor went viral.

MBA Chai Wala is among the most popular in uniquely named stalls. MBA Chai Wala Founder Prafull Billiore started his tea stall in 2017 and went on to open multiple outlets as the success of his franchise grew. Earlier this year, he even bought a Mercedes-Benz car worth Rs 90 lakh.

Vartika Singh from Bihar found fame for her own BTech Chaiwali tea stall in Faridabad. She said that she wanted to do her own business and begin her startup, but instead of waiting for four years, she decided to do it immediately. Her dream is to have numerous outlets across the country.

Chai Thela is another good example of such a business. Pankaj Judge founded this business in 2014, which serves healthy and homemade tea varieties with snacks. The brand now has 35 outlets in nine states across the country.

BTech Paani Puri Wali is another well-known food stall on the list. Foundr Tapsi Upadhyay graduated in engineering, but instead of doing a corporate job, she decided to open her own pani-puri stall. Her biggest strength is that she sells air-fried pani-puris to her customers. People can enjoy her delicious pani puris near the Tilak Nagar metro station in India.

In West Bengal’s Siliguri, one might see the MBA Food Wali near Baghajatin Park. Fatima, who started her own food stall on a scooter, did her MBA in Human Resources, but later decided to quit her job and start her own business venture.
