The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today declared the Class 12 results on its official websites – cbse.nic.in, cbseresults.nic.in, cbseresults.gov.in and cbse.gov.in
- Visit the official website – cbse.nic.in
- Click on the class 12 result link on the homepage
- Enter your details such as registration number and date of birth
- CBSE Class 12 board marksheet will be displayed on the screen
- Download and save the Class 12 board result for future reference
- Download the Umang app from the Play Store or App Store
- Visit the CBSE section in the App
- Register with a mobile number and create a login
- Enter CBSE Class 12 board exam roll number and candidate’s number to get CBSE Class 12 marksheet
Over 38 lakh students were eligible for the CBSE 2023 examinations. The CBSE Class 12 pass percentage is 87.33%, a decline of over 5% compared to last year
Girls outshined boys this year as well. The pass percentage of female students is 6% better than their male counterparts
Kerala's Trivandrum zone performed the best with 99.9%. Among schools, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya outdid every school with a pass percentage of more than 97%
Apart from the official CBSE website and the UMANG app, Class 12 students can check the CBSE Class 12 board exam results at https://digilocker.gov.in/ and download the mark sheet. CBSE’s Parinam Manjusha can be used to download Digital Academic Documents by the schools. Schools can login at cbse.digitallocker.gov.in
Digilocker access can also be extended to students at CBSE-affiliated schools abroad. They can visit the portal, do face verification and create a ticket under ‘CBSE International Student 2023’
Those who are not satisfied with their results can apply for rechecking of their results as well. Students who want to do better can appear for the compartment exam later this year. Candidates applying for verification of marks will only be eligible to apply for obtaining a photocopy of the evaluated answer book. Candidates who have applied and obtained a photocopy of the answer book will only be eligible to apply for re-evaluation
CBSE Class 12 board exams were conducted from February 15 to April 5 this year. This year, the CBSE has not awarded the first, second and third divisions to students. The board spent around Rs 1.17 crore to provide water to students and around Rs 1.95 crore for COVID protocols
