YouTuber IShowSpeed posted another video on July 30, where he told his fans that he is going to the hospital as his eye has swollen up and it feels like someone’s stabbing his eye. Doctors said that the bacteria from his infection was pushed to the front of his eye.
Speed was admitted to a Tokyo hospital where he was expected to go for a surgery as the infection had affected his eye. However, his cameraman posted on Twitter today, “Speed had an MRI done and no surgery is needed. The docs say inflammation and bacteria is not on his eye, only his eyelid.” The doctor also said that if the bacteria had gone to the back of his eye, he might have lost his vision, but he was lucky.
