For the last few days, a video of MS Dhoni has been going viral, in which an Indigo air hostess presents the CSK captain with a tray of chocolates and a special note. Netizens have noticed that the CSK captain was playing ‘Candy Crush’ on the tablet seen in the video.
The air hostess posted the video on her Instagram sharing that Dhoni has been her crush for a long time. She wrote, “Okay....I admit !!! I could not stop blushing… not for the entire flight but for the entire day. I can't believe I met him like this… My all time crush, my love, @mahi7781. No doubt such a great human being, so humble and down to earth person.”
After the video went viral, the game Candy Crush Saga got over 36 lakh downloads in three hours showing the effect of the cricket legend’s popularity. The game was also trending on Twitter with many feeling nostalgia about the game.
Some users have also pointed out the simple and down to earth nature of Dhoni as he was travelling in economy class rather than business class. A user wrote, “Dhoni bhai flying economy. Not even the first row but 3F. Ranchi only has budget airline connectivity.”
Dhoni’s former teammate Ishant Sharma also revealed on The Ranveer Show that the World Cup winner is very fond of video games. He said that they all used to carry PlayStations for every tour or series and Dhoni would love to play on it.
Ishant Sharma also revealed some of the favourite games of Dhoni as he said, “Mahi bhai loves playing online/video games like Call of Duty and he's quite fond of PubG.”
After winning the IPL for a record fifth time, Dhoni recently had his left knee surgery in Mumbai. It remains to be seen whether he will play in the next season of the IPL or if this year’s IPL was the last one for him
