The inaugural "Choose Goodness: People’s Choice Awards" by Simpli Namdhari's has honoured consumer favourites across diverse product categories, reflecting the varied preferences of consumers nationwide.
Conducted across major cities in India, the survey garnered an impressive response from 17.75 lakh participants. Utilizing popular social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, Email & Whatsapp for voting, the survey provided intriguing insights into consumer preferences. The survey was distributed across key cities including Bangalore (40%), Chennai (10%), Delhi (15%), Hyderabad (20%), and Mumbai (15%).
Mango emerged as the top choice among exotic fruits, while pomegranate claimed the spotlight among regular fruits.
Broccoli dominated the exotic vegetable category, with tomato emerging as the preferred regular vegetable choice.
Curd reigned supreme in the dairy category, while vegan ice cream stole the show among vegan products.
Dark chocolate emerged as the clear winner in the chocolate category, while cookies dominated the snacks segment.
Sona masuri rice was crowned the national favourite in the staples category, with whole wheat leading in the wheat segment.
Chennai favored blueberries and Delhi opted for Hass avocado among exotic fruits, while Bangalore and Chennai prefered Watermelon Crimson Crush. Bangalore and Hyderabad showed a preference for mini cucumbers, while Iceberg Lettuces are being favored in Hyderabad and Mumbai.
Chennai led in Sona Masuri rice, while Bangalore opted for Organic Basmati rice and Delhi for Jeera Samba. Bangalore prefered multi-grain wheat, while Chennai and Delhi opted for Kabuli Channa and Quinoa, respectively, among millets.
Mumbai showed a preference for ghee alongside curd in the dairy category, while Hyderabad and Bangalore favoured Vegan Protein Bar. Dates are favoured in Bangalore and Pista in Chennai among dry fruits, with Bangalore preferring Namkeens and Hyderabad favouring chips among snacks. Hyderabad showed a preference for skin glow tea in the easy digest category.
