BTS member V aka Kim Taehyung has announced his solo album named ‘Layover’. The K-pop star will launch his album on September 8
Korean music label BigHit Music announced Kim Taehyung’s album as it tweeted, “Hello. This is BIGHIT MUSIC. We are excited to share more details about the release of BTS member V’s solo album ‘Layover’. ‘Layover' consists of six tracks in total - five tracks and a bonus track. To fully appreciate the album’s flow, we recommend listening to it in sequence from start to finish.”
The six tracks in V’s album have been named - ‘Rainy Days,’ ‘Blue,’ ‘Love Me Again,’ ‘Slow Dancing,’ ‘For Us,’ and Slow Dancing Piano Vr.’

The title song ‘Slow Dancing' is in the romantic soul style of the 1970s while 'Rainy Days', is a song that combines various white noises in everyday life with V's voice against the background of a rainy day. 'Love Me Again', is an R&B song with V's unique low tone while the fifth track, 'For Us' has a sensitive vocal charm, followed by a piano version of the title song
V collaborated with ADOR’s Min Hee-jin who led the overall production of his album, including music, choreography, design, and promotion
V announced the pre-order of his solo album on his Instagram and said that he wishes to ‘deliver’ these (albums) to everyone with lots of love
V’s solo album launch date will coincide with the birthday of the singer’s pet dog Yeontan
‘Layover’ album’s package featured images of the singer and dog Yeontan. The text written on it read ‘Happy Boys’
