Tom Cruise starrer Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One released in India on July 12. It is the sequel to Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018) and the seventh instalment in the Mission: Impossible film series. The movie has been performing well at the Indian box office but may witness a drop in its collection from Friday, as Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie are both releasing on July 21.
According to Sacnilk, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One had a successful opening week at the box office, raking in a total net collection of Rs 76.85 crore. On its ninth day, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One earned Rs 3.5 crore in India (early estimates).
Reality TV show MTV Roadies Karm ya Kaand partnered with Viacom18 Studios to integrate Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One in its upcoming episode.
On Saturday (July 22) at 7 pm on MTV and immediately afterwards on JioCinema, a special episode named "Haar ka Vaar" will premiere and a task inspired by Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One
The premise of the immunity mission revolves around a daring jewel heist, which was inspired by the compelling universe of Mission Impossible. Roadies contestants will set out on a mission to locate missing diamond pieces. The episode has also drawn inspiration from the rich history of Bhupinder Singh, the Maharaja of Patiala, who owned a spectacular diamond necklace that inexplicably vanished in 1948.
The challenge will take place at Bagrian Haveli, a 200-year-old heritage palace in Punjab. The diamond pieces, each clearly labelled with an X sign for identification, will be concealed in the haveli's many corners.
MTV will also host a contest on social media where programme watchers can enter to win Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One tickets by responding to a short question.
Entrepreneur Ashneer Grover, who was a judge on Shark Tank Season 1 , featured on MTV Roadies Karm ya Kaand during the auditions episodes, which streamed earlier on Voot and JioCinema.
Roadies Karm ya Kaand gangleaders include Prince Narula, Gautam Gulati and Rhea Chakraborty while the show is being hosted by Sonu Sood. The contestants on Roadies Season 19 include Sachin Sharma, Piyu Sharma, Prakram Dandona, Bhoomika Vasishth, Gary Lu and Rishabh Jaiswal of Splitsvilla fame, Rajveer Dey, Nejm and vlogger Thara Bhai Joginder among others.
