He tweeted, “Today, my diet comprises a lot of paneer, nuts, lentils, quinoa, peanut butter, along with a daily dose of whey protein.” The second was to switch his intermittent fasting from a 15-hour fast to an 18-hour fast

Dr Abby Philips, who is a liver specialist and goes by the Twitter name TheLiverDoc, tweeted to warn about the supplements shared by Ankur Warikoo. He shared the use case for each of the supplements. He warned against misinformation “by some fitness bro who peddles health advise from personal anecdotes”

Ankur Warikoo responded to Dr Philips and said that he was not endorsing the use of the supplements which he uses. He tweeted, “These were not my recommendations, instead a list of all that I consume.” Warikoo added, “I work with a certified trainer and it’s possible he is mis-informed.”

In response to Ankur Warikoo, Dr Philips further wrote, "I did not see a disclaimer, but instead it was direct advice based on anecdotal matters that you felt helped you. You could have merely mentioned your lifestyle changes instead of providing links to purchase supplements. That is not how medical science works."
